Schwartz's Fire 50 Teams

The Scholastic season is done with the conclusion of NHSCA Nationals this past weekend. The Schwartz Report has taken inspiration from Mascouts Fab 50 and Flo’s Flo 40 and has created the Fire 50 which crowns the top 50 teams in New England of the 24-25 season.

10 | Newtown | CT | CNESSPA | A mix of young talent and seniors helped Newtown finish 4th w/ 4 placers at New Englands–two of which are only sophomores. |
11 | Belmont Hill | MA | NEPSWA | Placed 3rd at Prep New Englands w/ 3 champions, 12th at Prep Nationals w/ a runner-up and 6th place finisher. |
12 | St. John's Prep | MA | CNESSPA | A solid team that tied for 10th at New Englands w/ a silver and bronze medalist. |
13 | Fairfield Warde | CT | CNESSPA | A Connecticut powerhouse that is always a title contender. 7th at New Englands w/ 3 placers. |
14 | Ridgefield | CT | CNESSPA | A team with talented underclassman, 15th at New Englands w/ a freshman and sophomore 4th and 5th placers, returning 2 other qualifiers. |
15 | Bridgewater-Raynham | MA | CNESSPA | Somewhat unexpteced run solidfied them as one of the top teams in Massachusetts this season. Injuries prevented a higher New England Finish (T-10th). |
16 | West Springfield | MA | CNESSPA | Although some guys missed out on the big dance, depth showed out when the team beat Newtown in a dual, placed 3rd as a team at MIAA D2 States. |

18 | Noble | ME | CNESSPA | The top program in Maine, had a New England placer and dual wins over teams such as Timberlane and Mt. Anthony. |
19 | Timberlane | NH | CNESSPA | Once again the Owls reign sureme in New Hampshire. Won the NHIAA Meet of Champions and brought 6 to New Englands. |
20 | Salem | NH | CNESSPA | The team that comes the closest to competing with Timberlane in-state, 2nd at the Meet of Champions and brought 5 to New Englands. |
21 | East Lyme/Norwich Tech | CT | CNESSPA | A school that had a star dynamic duo this season and enough depth to back it up. 9th at New Englands, |
22 | Chelmsford | MA | CNESSPA | Brought 2 to New Englands and came away with a champion and a 20th place finish. |
23 | Tewksbury | MA | CNESSPA | The dominant force in MIAA D3. Won the D3 state tournament and came in 11th at the MIAA All-States. |
24 | Trinity-Pawling | NY | NEPSWA | A New York prep school that came in 5th at Prep New Englands and had 3 bronze medalists. 33rd at National Preps. |
25 | Brunswick | CT | NEPSWA | Prep School placed 6th at Prep New Englands w/ 7 wrestlers placing in the top eight. |
26 | Bishop Hendricken | RI | CNESSPA | Always deep, brought 7 to New Englands and 1 found the podium., Placed 2nd as a team at the RIIL States |
27 | New Milford | CT | CNESSPA | A Connecticut school that is always gritty, had an electric 39-33 dual win over Newtown. |
28 | Danbury | CT | CNESSPA | THE Connecticut program, although it seems new powerhouses are emerging, you can never count out the Hatters |
29 | Natick | MA | CNESSPA | A tough Massachusetts team with good dual wins including one over Salem. |
30 | La Salle Academy | RI | CNESSPA | Placed 6th at RIIL States w/ 1 New England Qualifier. |
31 | Arlington | MA | CNESSPA | placed 39th at New Englands, had 1 placer, won the MIAA D1C/M Sectional. |
32 | Simsbury | CT | CNESSPA | Clutched it out in the postseason placing 7th as a team at the CIAC State Open and sending 2 to New Englands where they got 1 champion. |
33 | Ashland | MA | CNESSPA | 4th as a team at the MIAA D3 State Tournament, 8th as a team at the All-States, 21st at New Englands w/ 3 qualifiers and 1 placer. |

41 | Pinkerton Academy | NH | CNESSPA | Placed 3rd at the NHIAA Meet of Champions, had 4 New England qualifiers including a finalist. Team got 15th place at New Englands. |
42 | Mt. Hope | RI | CNESSPA | Placed 3rd at the RIIL State tournament as a team w/ 8 placers: 5 4th placers and 3 5th placers. |
