The Schwartz Report is proud to present the first set of Girls prep rankings! This set will contain the top four per weight class and top five teams based off a point system including ranked wrestlers. The St. Paul’s Tournament (NH) and the Phillips-Andover Tournament (MA) are the big tournaments of the year on the prep side.

The obvious favorite here is No. 1 Serra Akyali (Phillips-Andover, MA), who has won both the St. Paul’s and Phillips-Andover tournaments. No. 2 Laura Montoro (Concord Academy, MA) won prep New England's last season beating No. 3 Maddie Morse (St. Paul’s, NH) in the finals.

The team results might surprise you. They weren’t what I , expected, but there is no arguing with the numbers. Phillips Andover (MA) claims the top spot with seven wrestlers ranked. No. 2 Choate Rosemary Hall (CT) is top-15 in the country but with only five wrestlers ranked they come just short of Phillips-even with THREE girls ranked number one. St. Paul’s (NH) rounds out the top three.
