Action Starts in New England, Maine Highlights (Dec. 2nd)

Action began early in northern New England when a few Maine teams started competition. Several teams  gathered at Morse High School for the West Lake Tournament, Oxford Hills had a dual tournament, and Noble traveled to Saranac, NY for a tournament. Let’s recap what went down!


West Lake Tournament 

16 teams attended the school for the 41st annual Steven J. Westlake Memorial Tournament.

Oxford Hills Dual Tournament.

Massabesic, Sanford, and Dirigo headlined the Viking Duals at Oxford Hills High School in Norway, Maine. While none are ranked in the Dual Top 25, Massabesic sits at No. 14 in the tournament rankings, and Sanford is always a threat.

Noble Travels to New York

Lastly, Noble High School in North Berwick, Maine traveled more than five fours to Saranac, New York to compete in the Nate Wood Memorial tournament at Saranac Central High School. The tournament, a classic run in the upper part of the Empire State, entered its 27th year and featured eight teams—Noble being the defending champions.
