No. 1 Joziah Fry - Johnson & Wales

Coventry, RI - Coventry High School

4-0, 1st Place (National Champion)

For the 2nd season in a row, Joziah Fry won a DIII National Title. He did so in dominant fashion, winning three matches by technical fall and one by major decision. Fry finishes the season unbeaten against DIII opponents; his only loss on the season came in the finals of the Princeton Open against DI No. 2 seed Luke Stanich of Lehigh.

Norridgewock, ME - Skowhegan High School; Pottstown, PA - The Hill School

Craig opened the tournament against No. 2 Seed Christian Guzman of North Central. An apparent lower-leg injury seemed to hinder Craig, who fell 7-1 in his opening bout. Craig then medically forfeited from the competition in his next match.

No. 14 Colby Frost – Southern Maine

Steep Falls, ME – Bonny Eagle High School

4-3, 6th Place (All-American)

Frost entered the tournament unseeded and had to face returning National Champion (Now 2x National Champion) and No. 1 Seed Michael Petrella of Baldwin Wallace in the preliminary wrestle-in round which saw Frost lose by technical fall. Undeterred by the loss, Frost then ripped off four consecutive wins before falling in the consi-semis and ending up finishing 6th. To reach the podium Frost beat the No. 3, No. 4, and No. 8 seeded wrestlers in the bracket! This is his first All-American honor.

NR Evan Lindner - Washington & Lee

New Milford, CT - New Milford High School

0-2, DNP

Lindner went 0-2 on Day 1, but managed to take both his opponents into overtime. In his first match he faced fellow New England native and No. 8 seed Mike Glynn of RIT. Lindner ended up giving up a takedown and near fall in SV-1, falling 15-8. In his second match, Lindner faced Michael Conklin of TCNJ and lost 2-1 in the tie-breaker periods.

NR Zach Soda - New England College

Burlington, MA - Burlington High School

0-2, DNP

Soda entered the tournament unseeded and had to wrestle No. 7 Seed Taylor Smith of Washington & Jefferson in the preliminary wrestle-in round. He dropped this bout and then lost to Matthew Beyer of Ithaca.

NR Mike Glynn - Rochester Institute of Tech.

Salem, NH - Central Catholic High School

2-3, 8th (All-American)

Glynn, the No. 8 seed, went 2-1 on day 1, losing to eventual National Champ and No. 1 Seed Michael Petrella of Baldwin Wallace in the Quarterfinals. Glynn went 1-2 on day 2 to finish 8th. This is his first All-American honor.

No. 3 Peter Kane - Williams 

Fairfield, CT - Greens Farms Academy

3-1, 2nd (All-American)


A returning All-American, Kane entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed. The  member of a dominant Connecticut wrestling family went 2-0 on Day 1 to reach the semifinal and secure a guaranteed top 6 finish. In the semifinal, Kane picked up a big fall over No. 2 seed Cooper Pontelandolfo of NYU to punch his ticket to the final. In the national final Kane lost a close 4-2 decision to No. 1 Seed and returning National Champion Nolan Hertel of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Kane is now a 2x All-American.

Roeger opened the tournament by dropping a 1-point match to No. 5 Seed Brian Schneider of Elizabethtown. Roeger made it to the blood round by winning a decision over Jesse Herrera of Wabash before losing by fall to No. 3 Seed Cooper Willis of Augsburg.

Curley entered the tournament unseeded and faced off against returning National Champion and No. 2 Seed Zane Mulder of Wartburg in the first round losing by fall. Curley then dropped a decision to Khalil Mitchell of Averett.

Wilkins entered the tournament as the No. 4 seed and went 2-0 on day 1 to secure his spot in the semifinals and a guaranteed top 6 finish. In the semifinal, Wilkins dropped a 9-0 major decision to eventual National Champion and No. 1 Seed Bentley Schwanebeck-Ostermann of Augsburg. Wilkins then won his consi-semifinal before dropping the 3rd place match. This is his first All-American honor.

Ryan was the No. 8 seed entering the tournament and won his first-round match before losing by tech fall to eventual Champion and No. 1 Seed Bentley Schwanebeck-Ostermann of Augsburg in the quarterfinal. On the backside of the bracket, Ryan went 2-1 finishing in 7th place. This is his first All-American honor.

3-1, 2nd (All-American)

DeVivo came into the field unseeded and in his first-round match knocked off the No. 2 Seed Charles Baczek of Wabash. He followed that win up with two more wins to make an unprecedented run to the national finals! In the final, DeVivo’s Cinderella run was ended by No. 1 Seed Bentley Schwanebeck-Ostermann of Augsburg. This is his first All-American honor.

McLaughlin was unseeded and pulled off the upset in his first-round match beating No. 6 Seed Gage Linahon of Central. McLaughlin was then bested by No. 3 Seed Gabriel Zierden of Concordia-Moorhead in the quarterfinals. He dropped his blood-round match to No. 5 Seed Parker Venz of Augsburg, just missing the podium.

Betancur, unseeded, had a bout in the preliminary wrestle-in where he won by fall. He then lost to No. 2 Seed Rayshawn Dixon of Ferrum dropping him into the backside of the bracket. In the consolations, Betancur picked up another win by fall before losing in the blood round to No. 1 Seed Carl DiGiorgio of Coast Guard.
