We had a top-5 matchup last weekend with No. 1 Peter Rincan (Billerica, MA) besting No. 5 Emmett Logan (Lowell, MA) 9-1 to win the Salem Blue Devil Classic. No. 12 Brody McDonald placed 3rd in that bracket. New to this weight is No. 2 Stone Farnsworth (Coventry, RI). He placed 4th at last year’s New England Tournament at 132 and most recently won the Ashland Early Bird Tournament.

No. 8 Cristian Pote (Danbury, CT) is back in the rankings after a brief hiatus. Pote made the blood round at 106 in last year’s New Englands. No. 14 Austin DeWitt (Massabesic, ME) and No. 15 Jordan Agosto (Agowam, MA) are contenders worth following.
